AWC hosts Data Governance – Compliance or Corporate Culture? with Seaton Daly, attorney, entrepreneur, and information protection expert.

The greatest threat to the long-term viability of any organization in this century is the unauthorized release of mission-critical information. In a web-based world where workers increasingly rely on a variety of devices to access information at work, home and in public locations, safeguarding mission-critical data has become riskier and more difficult to do.

Join us and Seaton to discuss:

  • Risks to safeguarding information on a vast network of private, public and borrowed machines, as well as corporate systems
  • How data governance can minimize any significant deficiency or material adverse effect on business processes, which can directly influence a company’s valuation
  • How to establish a “controlled conscious corporate culture” that emphasizes employee awareness of external and internal threats to organizational controls

Speaker
Seaton M. Daly III, Esq. (Law Office of Seaton M. Daly III, P.L.L.C.) has extensive experience working in the information protection industry, both as an attorney and non-attorney, implementing disaster recovery plans and performing risk assessment audits in both the public and private sectors. He owns a general corporate transaction and privacy law firm in downtown Seattle.
