About the Speaker

Julie St.George has been a member of the Toastmaster community over ten years; serving as an Area Director, mentoring clubs, training club officers, and organizing speech contests.  Currently, Julie is the V.P. of Public Relations for Totem Toastmasters. Totem Toastmasters is an advanced specialty club with a focus on leadership. Julie also served on the Board of Directors for Association for Women in Computing from 2010 to 2012.

Julie is a project manager for Seattle Give Camp, a non-profit organization that develops software applications and websites for non-profit organizations. Her day job is at the FAA in Program Support for Aviation Safety. 


About the Topic

Through her speech, “Introverts Speak Too”, Julie will share her lessons learned from Toastmasters and share why it’s important to share your story, listen to understand, and how improving your communication skills will improve your personal relationships and your professional brand

Parking

The Central Library is located in downtown Seattle between Spring and Madison streets and Fourth and Fifth avenues.


Motor vehicles: The Central Library has a 143-stall underground parking garage with an entrance on Spring Street between Fourth and Fifth avenues. The garage is operated by ABM Parking Services (206-267-0446). 

NOTE: Height limit in the garage is 6 feet, 6 inches.
